UNGODLY DRESSING, FASHION AND DESIGN: Public Use of Shorts, Worldly Fashion, Ungodly Dresses and Design, Scriptural Principles Of Christian Dressing
1. Public Use of Shorts
It is now a fashion for men to move about with shorts. Some make long journey in shorts. This is not the custom with men in our day but came as a fashion. When a mature adult or noble man is seen in shorts in a public place, he portrays himself as an ignoble person. Believers bear the image of Christ and the word of eternal life and so must avoid rough and ignoble appearance as this, which can make people offended at them and at the gospel they carry.
2. Worldly Fashion and Design
Fashion refers to a popular style of clothes or dress reigning at a particular time in the society. Fashions are the work or invention of fashion designers. We are living in a progressive and dynamic world where new fashions keep taking over the old, as the world hastens to its close.
The Bible commands God's children not to love the world, nor the things of the world; not to make friendship with the world, to keep themselves unspotted by the world. The 'world' warned against, is the sinful human society and ungodly activities and lifestyle of sinners. Sin affects the sinner in every way. It affects his thoughts, tastes, designs, styles of dress, inventions and creativity. The world has her fashions designed to meet the taste of her children. The fashions of the world are designed to promote immorality, corruption, disobedience to God and wickedness. The god of this world, Satan, is the brain behind these fashions and designs. He employs the service of ungodly fashion designers, tailors and seamstresses to achieve his aim.
Believers are not of this world and so must not partake in the evil fashions and designs used by the men and women of this world. Christian fashion designers must ensure that they do not design any kind of wear that promotes sin and brings dishonour to God among men. No Christian tailor or seamstress should accept to sew a style of dress that promotes sin and brings dishonour to God. Believers are instructed by God's word to be watchful, to prove all things and abstain from all appearance of evil. Hence proper care and examination must be made for every style of dress to be sewn and every kind of clothes to put on. Our wears as believers must go through the screening exercise of God's word. We must make sure we do not grieve the Holy Spirit that lives in us by the kind of clothes we wear.
3. Ungodly Dresses
Our world today is full of ungodly wears, fashions and designs that are called by many names. New ones will keep coming up until Christ comes. We shall examine a few designs of clothes and their evil effects.
(i) Slit or split skirts
This are skirts with a slit or opening at the front, back or sides. Sometimes the slit reaches to the knee or above it. This design is meant to expose the woman's inner body as she moves about or sits down among people. It is a satanic design which abuses the dignity and personality of the woman. Satan's intention for this design is to pull the eyes of men to the opening in the woman's dress which shows up to her privacy. Men suffer defilement in their thoughts through these slits in the women's skirts or gowns.
It's unfortunate that many Christian women are being used as agents of defilement unawares. It is only those who are defiled that can defile others. Hence those who put on such dresses are never holy Christians. Christian women must avoid the use of slit skirts and gowns.
(ii) Mini skirts
These are skirts whose length scarcely reaches the knees. Some end at the thigh. Mini skirt is advancement upon the split skirt on women nakedness. By them the woman's thighs which are part of her sensitive and attractive body parts are made bare for men's gaze and arousal. Because of proximity to her inner privacy, it exacts great pull on the eyes of many men. Her bending or sitting position many times exposes her inner privacy. Women who use this normally cross their legs or bring their knees tightly together when in sitting position. But this often wearies them. Many times they forget themselves.
Miniskirts are degrading to the woman. Those who wear them are considered irresponsible and immoral. It is unfortunate that in many churches the choir and 'gospel' singers use miniskirts. When they sit in the church their thighs are bare and there is an opening that shows in to their inner privacy, to the gaze and defilement of church members and ministers. Both they and their ministers who allow them to use such dresses to church shall not see the kingdom of God. The Christian woman's skirt must be long enough to cover hers knees properly in sitting position.
(iii) Armpit exposing, sleeveless blouses
This design was introduced to arouse men. Some men see the soft and hairy armpit of a woman and their mind connects it to her privacy below. Yet sleeveless blouses and gowns are the delight of many women. The devil makes the godless woman delight in defiling dresses.
However, some women put this sleeveless dress on top of an inner wear with sleeves. When this is decently done it is proper dressing. The blouses of Christian women must have good befitting sleeves. The sleeve of the blouse must at least cover her arm.
(iv) Blouses with deep cuts
Blouses with deep cuts are designed to expose the woman's upper body, from shoulders up, for the lustful contemplation of men. The region leading to her breast is made bare to the gaze of lustful men. Many women are ignorant of the advantage Satan gains over them through ungodly dresses, while some put them on purposely to attract customers. This kind of dress makes the woman lose her God given glory. These ungodly dresses are highlighted to help the Christian woman avoid them.
The clothes she is to put on must cover her body properly so that she is not the reason for the moral defilement of any man in the sight of God.
(v) Tight fitting dresses
These are dresses that give no allowance to the body. They are designed to bring out the woman's shape for a show or to achieve some evil intentions. The length of some blouses is so short that either the woman's umbilical cord region is made bare or the whole of that region is made bare in her bending position. The present immoral society encourages young women to leave bare their umbilical cord region for men's lustful gaze. The Christian woman's blouse and skirt must give good allowance to her body and long enough to keep her body from being made bare, even in bending position. If the blouse or skirt is the type with buttons, the buttons should be properly fixed such that her bare body or underwear is not exposed.
(VI) Perforated and transparent clothes
These are used by both men and women. This kind of dress allows people to look through the perforations to the body. The under wear is clearly seen. This is indecent dressing and should be avoided by believers. Our body must be properly covered so that no one is carried away by lust or evil thought through looking in to our body. Perforated transparent dresses are not good for Christians.
The Bible does not list the kind of dresses, fashions and designs a believer should adopt. However it presents guiding principles for Christian dressing, which include the following:
(i) The dress must cover the body to avoid being a stumbling block to others.
(ii) The believer must avoid worldly fashions and designs aimed at corrupting the society
(iii) A woman must not put on man's dress; neither should a man put on a woman's dress.
(iv) Christian virtues of meekness, gentleness, humility, temperance, goodness and modesty must be seen in the believer's comportment.
(v) The believer must be an example to other believers in his or her clothing.
(vi) He or she must not dress for show-off
(vii) The glory of God must be the sole aim in bodily clothing.
The wedding garment used by the people of the world istransparent and does not cover properly. Some parts of her body are made bare. This corrupts the mind of the faithful and is evil in the sight of God. The Christian bride wedding garment must be descent and cover her body properly. For this purpose, she may avoid renting a wedding garment but sow one for herself to meet her Christian conviction.
Revelation 19:7-8: Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Self Justification Of Some Women
Some claim that the trousers they put on are feminine in design, a claim which their conscience, the word of God, true believers and the human society do not justify. Some women justify themselves by saying they put on trousers in a decent way that does not expose their privacy.
They condemn other women for putting on trousers indecently. But both of them are condemned before God. Only repentance and holy living can make them escape hell.
Romans 2:1-6: “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man(woman), whosoever thou art that judgest, for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doeth the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man(woman), that judgest them who do such things, and doest the same that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despiseth thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man(woman) according to his deeds.”
The Loss Of Women's God Given Glory In Our Day
The masculine attire and appearance women have now adopted have introduced them to satanic spirit of the last days which turns their behaviour and attitudes to that of men; the women in the society behave and act like men.
The beautiful feminine attributes built into them by God in nature are abandoned for men's masculine attributes. God, men and godly women observe with grief the loss of feminine glory in our day! This affects virtually every field where men and women coexist or interrelate. Marriage and the family is not left out. This masculine spirit in the woman makes her want to be in control in family affairs, making subordination to her husband a difficult thing. This spirit is also transferred to her female children and takes over them in their tender age.
The men who support this masculine attire of women know little of the evil effects it has on them. We must contend against this evil in women as against the spirit of degeneration of the last days which seeks to destroy righteousness and holiness among God's people.
(i) We say no to Christian women wearing trousers and other masculine dresses, whether they are Americans, Europeans, Africans or Asians.
(ii) We say no to hiding under the guise that the trousers are feminine in design
(iii) We say no to the belief that prominent Christian women leaders and ministers' wives who use trousers will still make heaven.
(iv) We say no to the corruption in children wears which fills the wardrobe of female children with trousers and other masculine dresses.
(v) We say no to the belief that ministers who permit women to wear trousers in their ministry are unblemished before God.
(vi) We say no to the institutions that treat women as men, giving them the same dress code.
Divine Revelation on the use of trousers by women
God in His mercy gave divine revelation to some chosen ones among men in our generation. Some of these were taken to hell to hear some of the things that condemned people to it. They had opportunity to speak with some victims of hell.
Some of the women now in hell confessed that their use of trousers when they were alive on earth was one of the things that condemned them to everlasting hell fire. Some of these were ignorant of this evil until they died and entered hell, while some knew the truth, but hardened their hearts. We are not told what nation or race of people those women now in hell for their trousers-wearing were. Hence no nation or race of people is exempted from this offence. Women of every race and nation must run away from the use of trousers.
Again the women condemned to hell for using trousers did not specify which type of trousers they used, masculine or feminine.
Hence all kinds of trousers must be avoided by women desiring to escape hell and enter heaven. Our examination of scripture has already revealed the evil in women using trousers.

Divine revelations only served to confirm scriptural truth.Believers must put away traditions and customs of men that go contrary to the Scripture and hold to scriptural position on all things, including dress code.
Revelation 22:14-16: “Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. UNGODLY DRESSING, FASHION AND DESIGN: The Sin And Evil In Women Wearing Trousers
Believers must avoid every dress, fashion or design that does not speak well of the gospel and is masterminded by Satan. The scripture gives outright commands and principles to be followed in believer's dressing. These should be observed. Believers must reject dress code of their work place, if it is contrary to God's commandment. Daniel rejected the idolatrous food of king Nebuchadnezzar because he would not want to defile the holiness of God in his life. He humbly requested for an alternative.
No woman should accept to put on ungodly dresses because her husband is pleased by them. Her first allegiance is to God, not her husband. We shall consider some of these dresses in the light of the scriptures
The use of trousers by women is masterminded by the god of this world in his battle against God, the church and mankind in general.
Ephesians 2:2-3: “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past, in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”
By making these women wear trousers, the arch enemy of man spreads the following sins and evils.
(i) Rebellion against God's commandment
He makes women rebel against God's commandment that women should not put on that which belongs to men, because to do so makes the woman an abomination to God.
Deuteronomy 22:5: “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
The God that made the man and the woman knows that because of their sexual uniqueness, each will require suitable kind of clothing for proper covering of their body; hence He gave this commandment. When a man or woman breaks this commandment he or she has wandered away from the path of decency and becomes an abomination to God.
(ii) Temptation to men
The woman's private body is designed by God to exert some attractive pull on man for the purpose of marriage.
Hence proper clothing is required of the woman to hide her body from men, to keep their eyes and mind undisturbed and their hearts pure.
The use of trousers by women exerts great force upon men. The eyes of men are automatically pulled to the woman to examine the shape of her private body organ which is protruded or made plain by the trousers she has put on. Those at her back feast lustfully on her rolling buttocks made almost bare by the trousers.
Through the use of trousers by women, lust and immorality are easily and bountifully spread among men at home, in the market, in the work place, in the school and other places.
Through the use of trousers by women Satan makes it easier for men to transgress against the word of God.
Matthew 5:27-28: “Ye have head that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”
Let the women be told that the use of trousers by women have great immoral effect on men, including believers and ministers of the gospel! Some men in pretence show as if they are not struggling in their minds when they see a woman in trousers near them.
Only the grace of God keeps true Christians in the society and in the church where this evil abounds. But how many truly maintain heart purity in the face of this evil? The woman who wears trousers is guilty of spreading lust and causing many to fall, knowingly or unknowingly. This makes her a sinner, no matter what her conviction is.
1 Corinthians 8:11-13: “And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.”
Romans 14:14b: “But judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.”
(iii) Hindrance to the salvation of others
Some of these trousers-wearing women may be born again and endued with grace by the Holy Spirit. But they cannot do much for God as He desires. The reason being that the trousers they put on
closes many gospel doors against them. Their ministration is considered as a service coming from an unholy vessel. Many turn away from them permanently. Hence trousers wearing female ministers hinder the salvation and spiritual edification of many.

They do not only close many gospel doors against themselves, but also against their husbands, who move with them in ministry.
Ecclesiastes 10:1: “Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.”
As believers and ministers we must seek to have our ministry accepted by men. For this to be so we must provide things honest in the sight of all men. To have a wide welcome among men, we must live an unblemished life, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of men.
2 Corinthians 8:20-21: “Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us: Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.”
(iv) Many believers and ministers perish silently
The men and ministers of the churches that permit this evil dressing perish silently through lust in their hearts or through actual acts of immorality. This may not be known now, but the day of judgment will reveal it. Hence this issue must be firmly resisted through God's word.
The church must not pretend that all is well when lust is being spread in the church by these women. Ministers of the gospel must not pity or compromise with these women, else their lives and those of others shall go for it

Proverbs 7:26,27: For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.”
(v) Hardness of heart against the truth
The women that wear trousers and the Christian ministers that permit them develop hardness of heart against the truth of scripture.
Satan fortifies these women with strong arguments, giving them preachers who interpret the scriptures to their favour.
2 Timothy 4:3-4: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
(vi) Temptation to righteous women
Some of these trousers-wearing women are women of renown in the church and in the society, such as women leaders, women ministers, wives and children of prominent ministers. They speak in tongues, prophesy, perform signs and wonders, preach powerful messages, sing inspired songs, are charitable, manifest great zeal for Christ, possess one spiritual gift or the other.
These qualities confuse, deceive and lure ignorant righteous women into the wearing of trousers, thinking God has approved of it. No, God cannot approved what His word has decreed against. If those trousers-wearing women do not repent, they will not enter heaven.
Matthew 7:21-23: “Not everyone that says unto Me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many shall say unto Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.
Psalm 50: 16-17:“But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare My statutes, or that thou shouldest take My covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest My words behind thee.
Psalm 21-22: These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself; but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.”
(vii) Contamination of children
This evil practice is transferred to their children, when they are still young and ignorant, thus damaging their conscience at tender age.
When these grow up, they do worse than their parents, without the slightest feeling of guilt.
Ezekiel 16
44 “Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverbs against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
47 Yet has thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.”
(viii) Open Door To Unrighteous Decree By Secular Institutions
Since the use of trousers by women has been legalized by many churches, many schools are introducing it as uniform for their female students. Many governmental and non-governmental institutions provide trousers for their female workers, to the harm of the godly woman.
The holiness churches must cry out to God along with the Psalmist:
Psalm 12:1: “Help, LORD, for the godly man (woman) ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.”
May God arise and redeem His people. May the righteous be emboldened to resist the ungodly commandment of the kings of the earth!
Daniel 1:8: “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”

WORLDLINESS IN HAIR-DO'S: HAIR CUT AND SHAVE
1 Corinthians 11:14: “Doth not even nature itself, teach you that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?”
This scripture makes it clear that it is indecent for a Christian man to keep bushy hair. Christian men are to keep their hair low.
This may warrant regular hair cut. In this wise, believers must ensure that their haircut not follow the styles and fashions of the/ungodly of this world. A man's haircut style describes his person.
Believers must not adopt haircut styles that may misrepresent them before men. Some styles of haircut adopted by some believers portray them as worldly guys or at most, new converts.
When these are seen in Christian ministers, they portray them as 'new generation' ministers who have no word of eternal life for men.
Believers should go for generally accepted and normal haircut styles which do not draw attention or misrepresent anyone.
The same principle also applies to hair shave. Believers should go for simple hair shave, avoiding hair shave with artistic design, leaving some lines of hair on the face, which attracts attention or criticism.
Concerning the keeping of beard, the saints of post Bible time kept long beard too. They were not strange or an offense to their environment, since it was a general practice of all men in their time, believers and unbelievers. But the world in our present age has changed position on the keeping of beard. Most men shave their beard or trim it very low to maintain a clean face. This is presently the acceptable practice among men in most parts of the world.
Maintaining long beard and moustache makes one look odd to people around, and may have negative effect on one's gospel influence and relationship with people. Believers are admonished
to be wise.

The Bible says it is a shame for the woman to be shorn or shaven.
1 Corinthians 11:6: “For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.”
It is unbecoming for a woman to maintain haircut like a man. Women should maintain their feminine hair dressing, which distinguishes them from men. Some women whose hair has been affected by perming and jerry curl and who have repented of their deeds, cut their hair to allow new one to grow. In the event the hair has to be cut, the head should be covered with a veil until she resumes to her feminine hair dressing.
Let the Christian woman maintain her feminine hair dressing. Hair grows around the jaws of some women, appearing as moustache or beard; such should be regularly shaved off to maintain a clean feminine face.

My journey with the LORD on this matter.
We went for a burial of a sister who we served the Lord together in one way or another. She died through an accident and like most burials the pastors assured us that she had rested with the Lord. I totally believed that because the life of that sister revolved around church and she truly loved the Lord. The period of mourning was over and life moved on.
January this year I called a friend of mine and out of the blues we began to talk about how committed that sister was. In the evening my spirit was very heavy regarding that issue and I began to pray fervently. I told Jesus that I wanted to know the truth . That is the time I received the vision on my wall dated February 23rd 2016.
A few days later the Lord spoke to me about her destiny and a famous gospel musician who died some years back, this was the most devastating, heartbreaking and nerve breaking communication I have ever received from the Lord. I kept on wondering why them was there anything common about them, then the LORD begun to open my understanding that both of them made lies or propagated falsehood unknowingly. Remember ignorance is no defence.
In the month of February this year the Lord began to teach me mysteries about His Kingdom.
This message is for the believers, if you are not born again please take the first step of accepting Jesus then and only then will this message be useful to you. I want to deal on sin of the body because the sin in the heart has been frequently dealt with by the church.
When the LORD called me He send me to His children and I didn't understand then but now I do. God created all creation for His own glory but what God creates satan perverts. He created an Indian woman and gave her long, silky and soft hair, He created an African woman and gave her black, short rough hair, all for His own glory. God is a God of diversity. He created whites, light skinned people and blacks.
The queen of the coast has careful designed some products to defile the temple of the Lord. It starts from the inside (spirit) and reflects on the outside.
I want to talk about a scripture that satan likes very much, even witches know it, don't judge me Mathew 7:1 Children of God Jesus came to show us the way not to condemn us but if we refuse the way we will be condemned.
1 Corinthians 6:2-3: do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall be judged by you are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not we shall judge angels? How much more things that pertain to this life?
I want us to examine Romans 8:1: there is therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.
So we can be in Christ but walking in flesh and there is condemnation for us.
Today the church is misusing grace so let us re define it.
Titus 2:11-12: for the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men teaching them how to say no to ungodliness and worldly lusts....
Grace is not given at the expense of God's holiness. If the grace that we received has not taught us how to say no to worldliness then we have never received grace at all.

Whosoever uses her attachments, her appearance will look like that of Medusa in the physical realm but in the spiritual realm, she will be putting on snakes.
Women be wise, the artificial hairs your attaching to your head are not what you think. If you can’t see them physically I believes you can see them spiritually or when you die they will review themselves to you.
