A REVELATION ON THE EVIL INTENTION BEHIND VIDEO GAMES

In a dream of the LORD, I saw words written, "This is designed by Lucifer", referring to the computer and video games e.g. FIFA (versions):  14,15,16,17, PES 15,16,17, zombie games and ALL COMPUTER AND VIDEO GAMES.  Any kind of addictive entertainment is the devil’s craftsmanship, as a way of distracting us from serving God and from concentrating on our salvation. 

What's The Message To The Church?

The Bible clearly warns us against love of the world and against the dangers of worldly. Therefore, all computer and video games are an abomination before God. The same goes for those running the gaming enterprises, selling gaming accessories and those who in any way, make it convenient for others to engage in such things.
Do These Games Glorify God? EXACTLY NO!

They glorify violence (Mortal Kombat for instance), lewdness, theft (Grand ‘Theft’ Auto for instance) dumb decision-making, nudity, ungodly thrill and idolatry. Besides, these games promote the spirit of gambling, mammon, occultism, gambling, lasciviousness etc As Christians, our activities should bring glory to God (1 Corinthians 10:31) and help us to grow in the knowledge and grace of Christ. 

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, LASCIVIOUSNESS. ( Galatians 5:17-19 )


Why Idolatry? 

Idolatry is an addiction or obsession with something in the life of a Christian, hence taking the place of God in a Christian’s heart and life. There is no room in a Christian life for such things.  Paul compares the Christian life to an athlete disciplining his body so that he may win the prize. 

Does it pass the test of Philippians 4:8?
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” 
When you play these games, is your mind focused on godly or secular things? Again, will they fit in with your life purpose? These are the questions that we must ask ourselves as Christians.

In the final days people would be “…lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God” ( 2 Timothy 3:4 ). Western culture fits that description. We become addicted to them and like a non-Christians wen do not have a purpose higher rather than to enjoy life before death.

WILL PLAYING THESE GAMES GIVE ME AN ETERNAL FOCUS?
As Christians, we have hope of eternal rewards in heaven if we are faithful in our lives, here on the earth (Matthew 6:19-21, 1 Corinthians 3:11-16). If our possessions or activities cause us to lose our eternal rewards, of what worth are they? (Luke 12:33-37). 

Christians often try to serve both God and their own desires. But Jesus clearly stated, “No one can serve two masters” (Matthew 6:24).

PARENTS WARN YOUR CHILDREN AGAINST INDULGENCE IN COMPUTER AND VIDEO GAMES.
