KILL THE FLESH

A life of a true christian is not that simple but full of challenges, struggles, pains, temptations, test and persecution but one is required to maintain the race for eternal crown.

1 Corinthians 9:24-25

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

Yes, the RACE is individually not a group. Many Christians thinks its a two way traffic and that's why many are busy defending their pastors, prophets etc and their churches. My friend, its working out your own salvation with fear and trembling

Philippians 2:12

...........work out your own salvation with fear and trembling

Therefore you will stand alone in the day of judgement(Hebrews 9:27) Not with your church, your pastor or any one BUT YOU ALONE.

For one to run the race YOU MUST KILL THE FLESH, yes the flesh must die. See what Apostle Paul says:-

1 Corinthians 9:26-27

Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Already, many Christians have clicked the DISQUALIFIED BUTTON and cares not and BELIEVES GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART. What a deception from hell?

Tell me the scripture that says "God looks the heart to enter heaven?" 

The Bible is clear in Hebrews 12:14

" Pursue peace with all people,and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord"

The flesh must die to pave way for the spirit man. The problem with the current Christians is too much of luxurious life. 

They want to follow what the flesh says not what the Spirit says. This has led to many clicking the DISQUALIFIED BUTTON. 

As a christian you can't overcome a temptation, a challenge by flesh!! NO, the flesh must die first. 

Why do most Christians likes to argue over the Bitter truth? Its because of being controlled by the flesh and have not paved way for the spirit man. 

A fleshly man thinks of the things of the world and his/her belly while a spiritual christians speaks the mind of Christ

Romans 8:5

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit

1 Corinthians 2:15-16

But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

The race is not that simple but a matter of striving. Its time you must kill the flesh. The best way is through PRAYER and FASTING and WORD.

This is a kingdom principle for those who are SERIOUS WITH THE RACE. See, what Apostle Paul says:-

Romans 14:17

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

YOU CAN'T KEEP ON FATTENING YOUR BODY AND EXPECT TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD. So, Fatten the spirit man and you will see the mysteries of God. 

DO YOU PRAY AND FAST? 

Its simply to starve the flesh while feeding the spirit and the spirit will begin to overpower the flesh.

This is the essence and power of fasting, you are literally starving the flesh while feeding the spirit with prayer, Word, submission, humility, and obedience. You are training your spirit to tell the flesh, "NO".  

To obtain great spiritual strength, this principle and practice needs to be applied to every aspect of fleshly desires.

Yes, in every area of fleshy desire that we find ourselves struggling we need to decide to have a fasting mentality.

If the flesh is strong and the spirit is weak then you need to declare a fast of that thing that your flesh wants. To force the flesh into submission, you must deprive it of power. That means you must deprive it from getting what it wants.

A christian who does not fast has a problem? You need to evaluate your life well. Every true christian must walk in the Spirit not in the lust of flesh

Galatians 5:16

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Romans 8:13-14

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

YOUR LUSTING.....Kill the flesh

YOUR ERECTING WHEN YOU SEE ANY LADY/WOMAN EVEN OLD WOMEN AND YOUNG GIRLS......Kill the flesh

YOUR THINKING OF SPONSORS, SUGAR MUMMIES, DADDIES, BOYFRIENDS, GIRLFRIENDS.......Kill the flesh

YOUR STRUGGLING WITH DRUNKENNESS.....Accept Jesus and Kill the flesh
