Mark 1:17
Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”
I really love this scripture so much. It was a great call to the Apostles and was to manifest after Jesus ascends to heaven. During their time with Jesus, it was a way of thorough training of how to fish men( win souls for God's Kingdom). Likewise, its also a call to every Christians. We are all called to different ministries( Ephesians 4:11).
Winning soul for Christ is a Kingdom principle. This requires one to focus on what God speaks or directs him or her. We have been given the special gift who is the Teacher, Counselor, guider and Revealer of mysteries even the deep secret. I call Him the Holy Ghost.
1 Corinthians 2:10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
John 16:7-11
Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
Winning souls is not only for God servants only but for every Christian. Haven't you not known one armor of a Christian is "having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace(Ephesians 6:15), that means EVANGELISM. If you don't win souls for Christ then WAKE UP FROM SLUMBER. Its good to understand our mission and purpose assigned to us.
Therefore we should be deep drunk by the Holy Ghost since we are in perilous times. As we win souls for Christ also the devil has released his wolves to deceive and suck their blood. Jesus says "follow Me and I will make you fishers of men" while the devil says" follow me and I will make you wolves of men".
This wolves have come in sheep clothing as Jesus warned.
Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Many servants of God starts well but at the end they corrupt themselves. This is risky and it scatters the flock of God. The passion for winning souls for Christ changes to den of wolves. They have become wolves who only care of their belly and feed the flock secretly.
Have you not seen servants sleeping with the worshipers in the name of womb restoration? Wolf
Have you not heard of servants selling anointed mantles, brooms, calendars etc?
Wolf Haven't you not heard of servants in occultic? Wolf
Have you not heard of servants owning big clubs, bars, brothels? Wolf
Have you not heard of servants preaching only prosperity gospel to steal from their members?....................ETC This wolves only prophecy lies to sweeten the sermon and no rebuking of sin, no teaching of repentance and no teaching the church the message of cross.
Christians be careful with the diet from some churches. We have now ushered a new year. The year that few are striving to Enter( Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 13:24)
So what of you as a servant or Christian? Will you be a fisher of men or will you be wolf of men?
